The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), with support from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER), and the Kentucky Office of Energy Policy will host an in-person bootcamp on April 5-7, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. The bootcamp is intended to enhance State Energy Security Planners’ and Energy Emergency Responders’ ability to better prepare for and respond to energy disruptions and emergencies, and to facilitate intrastate and interstate coordination and planning for energy security.
The bootcamp will consist of educational and technical sessions, as well as interactive breakouts designed to develop and strengthen energy security coordination, and familiarize participants with methods, tools, and resources used in state energy security planning.
This event is intended for State Officials involved in Energy Security Planning and who serve as State Emergency Support Function 12—Energy (ESF-12) representatives (e.g., State and Territory Energy Offices, Public Utility Commissions, Governors’ Offices, Emergency Management Agencies, etc.). This invitation may be shared by and among State Officials at their discretion.
NASEO Affiliate Members, as well as select industry, federal, and local partners will be approved on an as-requested basis if space allows.
